myOptions Encourage (formerly myOptions/myCollegeOptions) is a college and career planning program that empowers educators with resources to help their students envision, plan for, and realize success after high school.

Encourage serves about 1 million students annually across 5,000 school districts and 13,000 high schools in all 50 states.

Partnering to Serve Students for Over 50 Years

myOptions Encourage—formerly myOptions and myCollegeOptions—has partnered with educators and community based organizations to support all learners in achieving their dreams for over 50 years.

We work with more than 20,000 educators annually to deploy the myOptions Encourage College and Career Planning Program. Together with our partners, we serve 1 million students across 5,000 school districts and 10,000 high schools each year—making myOptions Encourage the largest free college planning program in the nation.

Help Students Take Control of Their Postsecondary Plans

We believe all students—regardless of background, income, or zip code—should have access to free and robust college and career planning tools. After students complete a college and career preference form, they are invited to access Encourage, our free college and career planning app—available online, on iOS, or Android.

After activating their accounts, students immediately see their personalized college matches and scholarship opportunities, as well as tools for setting goals and exploring careers and college majors.

Educators participating in the myOptions Encourage College and Career Planning Program receive access to interactive reports of their participating students’ postsecondary plans through our educator web app at no cost. The reports and dashboards visualize data on students’ college plans and school, state, and national trends.
