DATES OF SWEEPSTAKES/ENTRY PERIODS: The “Encourage for Students Monthly Giveaway #4” (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on December 1, 2023 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on April 30, 2024 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). The Sweepstakes Period is subject to five (5) monthly entry periods (each, an “Entry Period” or “Month”). For each Entry Period, two (2) prize winners (each, a “Prize Winner”) will be selected at random as outlined in the “WINNING/NOTIFICATION” section herein (each, a “Monthly Drawing”). The five (5) Entry Periods and Monthly Drawing dates are:

There is a limit of one (1) entry per person for this Sweepstakes. Non-winning eligible entries from previous Entry Periods will carry over and be considered eligible for subsequent Monthly Drawings.
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to permanent legal resident of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia who are between the ages of fourteen (14) and eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry (each, an “Entrant”). Officers, directors, managers and employees of Sponsor, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and related companies, dealers, Distributors, advertising and Sweepstakes agencies, consultants and agents, as well the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such person, and any others engaged in the development, production, execution or distribution of this Sweepstakes, including National Sweepstakes Company, LLC (the “Independent Administrator”) are not eligible to participate. Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Sweepstakes is void outside the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia and wherever else restricted or prohibited by law.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Sweepstakes, visit the website at https://encourageme.com/lp/sweepstakes (the “Website”) and complete the official registration form (“Entry Form”) in its entirety, including your first name, last name, address, city, state, zip code, gender, email address, current GPA, anticipated graduation year, birth date and anticipated College major. Upon clicking the “Submit” button, Entrants will receive one (1) entry into the Monthly Drawing associated with the Entry Period for which the “Submit” button was pressed. Such entry will also be eligible for each Monthly Drawing held thereafter unless (or until) the Entrant is selected as a Prize Winner.
Any attempt by an Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different identities, and/or any other methods will void that Entrant’s entry and that Entrant may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the owner of the associated email address submitted at time of entry (“Authorized Account Holder”). Entrants may be required to provide proof of being the Authorized Account Holder. No mechanically or programmatically reproduced entries are permitted. Sponsor will not verify receipt of entries for Entrants. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, delayed, misdirected entries.
By entering, each Entrant; (a) represents that he/she is at least fourteen (14) years of age and otherwise eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes; and (b) fully and unconditionally agrees to and accept these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and legally binding in all respects. Any person who tampers with the entry process in any way will be disqualified.
WINNING/NOTIFICATION: There will be five (5) Monthly Drawings held for this Sweepstakes on or about: January 8, 2024 (for Entry Period 1); February 7, 2024 (for Entry Period 2); March 7, 2024 (for Entry Period 3); April 7, 2024 (for Entry Period 4); and May 7, 2024 (for Entry Period 5). For each Monthly Drawing, two (2) Prize Winners will be selected at random, and each will win a prize (the “Prize”) as further described below. Non-winning eligible entries from previous Entry Periods will be eligible for subsequent Monthly Drawings. Odds of winning a Prize in any of the Monthly Drawings is dependent on the total number of eligible entries received during the respective Entry Period (and any non-winning eligible entries from preceding Entry Periods). Limit of one (1) Prize per person / household for the entire Sweepstakes. Each of the Monthly Drawings will be conducted by the Independent Administrator whose decisions are based upon their sole discretion and interpretation of these Official Rules and are final and binding in all respects. The Prize Winners will each be notified upon receipt of his/her Prize which will be shipped via FedEx within four (4) to six (6) weeks from the date in which the Prize Winner is determined.
PRIZES:Each Prize Winner will receive a Prize of $500 cash in the form of a check. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Prize is $500. The total of all Prizes to be awarded in this Sweepstakes is $5,000; equivalent to two (2) Prizes per Entry Period. A total of ten (10) Prizes will be awarded in this Sweepstakes. No substitution of Prizes is permitted except at Sponsor's discretion. Prizes are not transferable and may not be resold. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. No more than the Prizes set forth in these Official Rules will be awarded. Prize Winners are required to comply with any and all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Any taxes imposed on the income of a Prize Winner as a result of winning a Prize and all other expenses not specifically mentioned herein as part of the Prize are solely the responsibility of the Prize Winner. No transfer or substitution of Prizes is allowed except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for and will not replace any lost, stolen or misplaced Prize. Any depictions of the Prizes in advertising are for illustrative purposes only and may not represent the actual Prize awarded. No more than the number of Prizes set forth in these Official Rules will be awarded. All Prizes will be awarded.
Each Prize Winner consents (and agrees to sign any additional documents required by Sponsor, to formalize, effect or perfect such consent, except where prohibited by law) for Sponsor and those acting under their authority, to use his/her name, likeness (photograph and/or video), biographical information, and voice in advertising/publicity/trade without territorial or time limitations and without compensation, notice or approval; and, each Prize Winner disclaims any ownership rights of such advertising/publicity/trade material. Sponsor and Independent Administrator are not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of Entrants.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor, corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and conduct the Sweepstakes in a manner which in its sole discretion is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules. Notice of such action by Sponsor will be posted at the Website. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the Prizes at random from among the non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify or reject any incomplete, inaccurate or false entry. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. SPONSOR'S FAILURE TO ENFORCE ANY TERM OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE A WAIVER OF THESE PROVISIONS.
RELEASE: By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and each of its respective officers, directors, managers, employees, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, members, shareholders, insurers, servants, divisions, Distributors, predecessors, successors, representatives, dealers, distributors, advertising, Sweepstakes, and fulfillment agencies, including the Independent Administrator, consultants and legal advisors (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt, redemption or use of a Prize, including any travel related thereto, if applicable.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties are not responsible for (a); unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (b) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (c) any injury or damage to persons or property, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes; (d) any printing or typographical errors or other incorrect or inaccurate entry information in any Sweepstakes-related materials; (e) stolen, lost, late, misdirected, corrupted, incomplete, or indecipherable entries; or (f) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, mobile device, cable, network, hardware or software.
ENTRANTS PERSONAL INFORMATION: Information collected from Entrants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policies, located at https://encourageme.com/privacy-policy/. If you are selected as a Prize Winner, your first name, last initial, city, and state will also be included in a publicly-available winner’s list and (if desired by Sponsor), on social media channels, the Website and via email to subscribers.
WINNER’S LIST / OFFICIAL RULES REQUEST: For the name of the Prize Winners or a copy of these Official Rules, please submit a self-addressed, stamped envelope for receipt by May 31, 2024 to “Encourage for Students Monthly Giveaway #4” (please specify Winners List or Official Rules Request), PO Box 10505, Rochester, NY 14610. A copy of these Official Rules may also be obtained at the Website during the Sweepstakes Period.
This Sweepstakes shall not be published without the written permission of the Sponsor.
